Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were at church together in Hamburg they were certain there was no going back. Ashley was 17 and never had a boyfriend so Andrew and Ashley took things very slow. Love was evident at the first sight. Andrew was praying to God at New Year's Day, just prior to the start of 2016. He demanded God to grant him one last blessing for the year to see Ashley say yes and get married. Ashley really wanted a woodsy traditional wedding that reflected her and Andrew. To create their perfect wedding, they chose to incorporate elements of everything they cherish. Ashley developed in the 40-acre property that was picked as the location for their wedding. Ashley took a tour of the area and enjoyed herself on everything, starting from the path they took to the field, where they made vows. Andrew and Ashley were also at this location numerous times prior to when they began dating. As most of the decorations were made by the bride and groom the personal touch was crucial. Ashley designed and painted a lot of the decor, while Andrew and Ashley's dad created the ceremony seating and arch.
